A Personal Story of Faith, Family & Following God

At UpperBags, we believe in carrying more than just diapers or laptops — we carry hope, purpose, and sometimes, a mission that stretches far beyond ourselves.

This year, we’re walking alongside a family we personally know and love — a young couple and their two children who’ve answered the call to serve in Southeast Asia.

They’ve spent the last month training in the Pacific Islands. Their days are filled with worship, service, discipleship, and parenting — all while preparing for the unknown. And through it all, their little ones are watching, growing, and hearing God in their own sweet ways.

“Hosanna is only 3, but she’s surprised us with sweet and true little phrases she feels God is speaking to her — especially when she’s scared at night or during family prayer.”

Their faith is simple. Their impact is already being felt — even in small moments.

“During outreach one day, we gave a grocery cashier a card with Hosanna’s favorite verse on it. She was so touched, she gave our daughter a small bag of chocolates. That moment reminded us that God uses even the smallest acts of faith to open hearts.”
