UpperBags started in a small New York apartment, with a newborn and a simple wish: to feel like ourselves while learning to be Mom and Dad.

Space was tight. Our hands were full. We wanted fewer things to carry and a bag we both felt good wearing—from the office to a walk around the city with our baby.

It had to look at home in New York and make sense inside. A place for our work things, a place for baby’s things, and less digging when one hand was already holding someone we loved.
